First, I have to say the feel is great. However, on the final step to take off the left side the plastic snapped, and in trying to get it sorted dust was introduced. So now I have a piece of dust and a big bubble on the left side of my screen. Luckily I am right handed and tend not to paint there, but I now have to decide if it’s worth throwing away an expensive protector to get rid of it. First experience with Paperlike.

The paperlike screen protector is fairly smooth and therefore doesn’t produce a loud sound, which I prefer. It does help make the screen less slippery and slightly improved my handwriting. Because the surface is smoother, fingerprints don’t build up as quickly and are much easier to wipe off. The installation process is very easy and straightforward, but getting the screen protector perfectly aligned was very difficult on my first try. Mine ended up very off-center, which is driving me crazy. I later tried aligning my other paperlike on top to compare, and that one lined up perfectly, so there may have been some kind of product defect with my first screen protector, but I don’t know. However, another issue I ran into is that the paperlike scratches quite easily when writing with the standard Apple Pencil tip. Other than that, I’m satisfied with this screen protector and would probably buy it again. From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t noticeably dull the screen or affect the colors.
